Exchange Policy

1. Jewellery purchased from SS Jewellery Mart may be exchanged only at the same showroom within 7 days from the date of the invoice. The original tax invoice must be presented.

2. Exchange will not be accepted if the jewellery has been tampered with, altered, misused, broken, or repaired in any manner.

3. Cash refunds are generally not permitted against exchanged jewellery. The exchange value must be utilized toward the purchase of another jewellery item. Fresh purchases will be billed at the prevailing gold rate on the date of purchase. Gold coins or bars cannot be purchased against exchanged jewellery.

4. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by mishandling, including breakage, enamel chipping, or the loss of stones.

5. All jewellery submitted for exchange will undergo examination to verify its authenticity, weight, purity, and condition, including inspection for damage, cracks, replacements, alterations, or stone defects.

6. The gold value will be calculated based on the company prevailing gold rate on the date of exchange. The payable weight will exclude the weight of stones, pearls, beads, dust, and any other non-gold materials. No resale value will be given for birthstones, blue sapphires (all varieties), beads, or similar materials.

7. Silver articles cannot be exchanged for gold jewellery, coins, or bars. Gold jewellery may be exchanged only for other gold jewellery. Coins and bars are excluded unless otherwise specified.

8. Making charges, taxes, discounts provided on the original purchase, and the value of stones, pearls, beads, or other non-gold materials will be deducted during exchange. Original invoices are mandatory for the exchange of jewellery containing diamonds, platinum, or precious stones.

9. Diamonds, platinum, and other precious stones will be valued according to the companys prevailing Exchange/Buyback Policy. While normal wear and tear is acceptable, no credit will be given for excessive wear, damage, cracks, replacements, or alterations.

10. For the exchange of diamond or platinum jewellery, customers must submit both :

   •the original tax invoice

   •the authenticity certificate.

If the authenticity certificate is not produced, an additional deduction of 2.5% on the final stone value (after applicable discounts) will apply, and the valuation process may take additional time. The valuation carried out by SS Jewellery Mart shall be final and binding.

11. If a customer requests a cash refund instead of an exchange:

   • 15% will be deducted from the final exchange value of studded jewellery (or such rate as may be applicable from time to time).

   • 4% will be deducted for plain gold jewellery.

   • 1% will be deducted for gold coins.

Refunds exceeding ?10,000 will be made only through Account Payee Cheque, RTGS, or NEFT. Such refunds may require a minimum of 3–4 working days for processing and will be issued only in the name of the customer mentioned on the original sales invoice.

Legal

1. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Srikakulam.

2. SS Jewellery Mart reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
